State-of-the-art facilities
UTS: Nursing, Midwifery and Health provides a range of simulation technologies at both campuses for students to practice their clinical/technical skills. From introductory low fidelity equipment in the clinical labs to the state-of-the-art simulators in the high fidelity simulation labs, our facilities allow students to practice patient care scenarios in realistic settings without risk or harm to patients or other health care professionals.
Take a virtual tour of our facilities.
Clinical practice laboratories
Students practice and develop their clinical and technical and patient assessment skills in our seven clinical practice laboratories at the Kuring-gai campus and three clinical practice laboratories at the City campus.
Maternity and children's nursing facilities
These facilities are used by our undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery students, undergraduate nursing students completing paediatric and neonatal subjects and postgraduate students undertaking children's nursing, neonatal nursing and child and family health nursing subjects.
High fidelity simulation laboratories
The high fidelity labs at both campuses house a range of advanced patient simulators, allowing for simulation of complex clinical scenarios. Each lab has video camera feeds into the control room where scenarios can be viewed and recorded.
